受容、寛容、寛大。

これらのワードは、今シーズンの“Yellow”コレクションへ影響を与えたヨーゼフボイスの作品や生き様からのインスピレーションをもとに設定されたサブテーマである。

文化や宗教、人種、そのような違いや差異が紛争や摩擦を生み出すのではなく、その差異を受け入れる姿勢が欠如した時にそれは生まれる。そこに必要なのは寛大さや寛容さであり、差異を無くすことではない。

そしてその寛大さや寛容さを私たちは本来持ち合わせているという事、また弱さや強さを同時に持ち合わせているという人間の魅力や可能性の表現に試みたのが今シーズンのコレクションだ。

ヨーゼフボイスから得たサブテーマから立体としてのオブジェクト、さらには洋服への発展を探る中で、メッセージを洋服へそのままレイヤーするのではなく、ドット柄やボーダー柄、花柄といった象徴として捉えることができるものに置き換えていく。

混じり合うさま、境界のないさまといった抽象的な表現のレイヤーによって、人の可能性や私たちが持ち合わせている受容や寛容、寛大といったマインドやメッセージを内包した。

今シーズンのアイテムの一つに、点描画で表現されたボタニカルグラフィックが存在する。この柄も様々な実験を通してアトリエで描かれた“傷の受容”を象徴したグラフィックだ。

花柄に織られた布にニードルパンチという技法で剣山のような針を刺してくと、布の裏面に細やかな色彩がドット状に表れ、点描画のような美しい模様が浮かび上がる。

この “傷によって生み出された美” を発展して描かれたのが繊細なドットによるボタニカル柄であり、“傷は受容によって美しく変容できる” ということを体現している。

これらの様々な表現は私たちが考える“希望”のメタファーであり、私たちが社会や自身について再度思いを馳せる一つのきっかけになればという願いが込められている。

私たちは装いを通して思想、希望をも表現できると信じている。

Acceptance, tolerance, generosity.

These words are the sub-themes of this season’s “Yellow” collection, inspired by Joseph Beuys’ works and way of life.

Cultural, religious, racial, and other such differences do not create conflict and friction, but they arise when acceptance of those differences lacks. What is needed there is generosity and tolerance, not the elimination of differences.

This season’s collection is an attempt to express the human charm and potential that we inherently possess such generosity and tolerance, as well as weakness and strength.

In exploring the development of the sub-theme from Joseph Beuys to objects as three-dimensional solids, and then to clothing, the message is not directly layered onto clothing, but is replaced with something that can be taken as a symbol, such as a dot, border, or flower pattern.

The layers of abstract expressions, such as “mingling” and “without boundaries,” encapsulate the mindset and message of human potential and the acceptance, tolerance, and generosity that we all possess.

When a needle is inserted into a floral pattern cloth using the needlepunching technique, fine dots of color appear on the reverse side of the cloth, creating a beautiful dot-painting-like pattern.

The botanical patterns with delicate dots were developed from this “beauty created by wounds,” and embody the idea that “wounds can be beautifully transformed through acceptance.”

These various expressions are a metaphor for our idea of “hope,” and into which we put our hope that they will help us to reconsider our society and ourselves.

We believe that we can express thought, and even hope through our attire.
